Eleventh Thread: Wedding Edition: The Hobbit Hole XI - No One Admitted Except on Wedding Business!
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, |
Still round the corner there may wait |
Home is behind, the world ahead, |
Do you compete, then?
It comes in three different diameters, to fit almost any shotgun worthy of the name. It's a handy way to hang a laser, flashlight, and ??? on your "social shotgun". $55 at brownells.com
The closed circuit TVs at church continually run with music and announcements between services/performances. Right now the CD of choice is Kenny G.
In the men's dressing room, we turned down the volume and cranked up Dr. Demento's "Dead Puppies." It was sorta our theme song.
Very nice pictures. I'll get some pictures around here once we get all recovered from the show...
(I'm catching up here...)
There's no official competition. I just personally don't tolerate being outdone. :-)
Kenny G? Ewwww.... I'd almost rather listen to every version ever done of "Silver Bells" (my personal hated Christmas song).
Dingaling....
Hear them ring!
Soon it will be Christmas day!
Very nicely done, interior and exterior.
OB-great looking train Atchinson Topeka & Santa Fe. Great line, didn't know they had a northwestern route. :-)
I hate you.
Evenin' folks (officially). Show's over and I'm just winding down.
Mrs. is sick. Migraine, nausea. A lot of the cast has been down with this stuff. She missed both shows today which she hated. Our director went on in her place.
In many ways, I'm glad the show is over. We get our lives back, so to speak. But this one was hard to let go. I'm not really sure what was different about this year. Maybe it was that the message was so much stronger. Maybe it was just the fellowship times and working so hard with so many people. But I'm a little sad tonite. It's a good sad, but it was hard to let go. I'm usually just so relieved it's over, so this caught me a bit offguard.
Luke's in bed. Wife's asleep on the couch. Jr. went out with some friends from the youth group, so I'm expecting him anytime.
I'm gonna check around here for a bit and then go read the paper.

Thanks all! I hope to get some better pictures of the train when we get the snow thing done on it, or at Christmas. ;~D
In the air there's a feeling of Christmas.

Break a leg!
Any pictures of the show, like you had last year?
That one is a personal favorite of mine. OB
Children laughing
People passing
Meeting smile after smile
Yeah, I'll post some pictures. And there should be some up on the website soon.
I ordered an extra DVD from this year and one from last year. A couple of folks have said they would like to see the show. I figger we can get a Flat Frodo type mailing going...
I know Suzi said she would like to see it. So when I get it I'll get names and addresses so we can mail 'em around.
And, I had to jump off a set piece on a moving turntable everynight. I'm surprised I really didn't break a leg!
And he was heard to exclaim as went out of sight
Merry Christmas to ALL
and To All a Good Night.
OB
It's a bloody good thing you're a thousand miles away, or you'd be sorry.
