Rainbows in Baghdad : A double rainbow is seen over the city of Baghdad after the first rains of winter fell, breaking months of dry weather. (AFP/Marwan Naamani)
Judy Garland couldn't top that one....
Beautiful!
There is a God over Baghdad.
I swear a month before the election, I posted it on FR, A baby eagle, American Eagle, lighted on a post right outside my kitchen window with his mother overhead flying. He could barely fly, went to the ground, then finally got up and went. I have never seen one in this area. He sat and stared at me for five minutes. I was frozen in wonder and felt, somehow, it was a message that all was well and not to worry. I wish I had had a camera.
I also saw an eagle about a month ago when I was out kayacking in an area here in Florida where I have never seen one. It was large and beautiful and stood on a rock looking like a "picture book" eagle. I also felt it was sort of a message. I wonder how many of us have had eagle sightings?
Was that picture from today?
