Kerry has given up florida?

Posted on 10/29/2004 6:50:36 PM PDT by bill1952

I keep reading how Kerry isn't allocating any new money into Florida, but all I hear on TV and radio is:

I'm John Kerry and I've approved this (nauseating) message.

I'm not kidding.

Here in the Treasure coast, where advertising would include WPB, and SE florida, the ads are running about 10 to one Kerry, and personally, I'm tired of it.

Bush ads, in the past 2 days, are as scarce as hen's teeth.

Not really, I guess. Texas has been doing it since 2000, I think, and so have many other states. It's not long enough to really establish any long term trends.

Early this week it was reported by the BoE that in Sarasota, Manatee and Charlotte Counties, turnout at the polls was favoring Republicans approximately 3-2 in all 3 counties.

The west coast of FL will go red.

And can somebody please tell me how having 15 signs all grouped together on the side of the road is a beneficial thing?

It's not. But you can only place the signs in certain areas and places. Here in VA utility poles are forbidden. This means you have to stick them in the ground and that's tough to do when there's nothing but concrete and asphalt.

Also, you can't place the signs on private property without permission. In the end, a campaign worker with so many signs just sticks them wherever they can.
