I just heard that the showing of Stolen Honor has been canceled for tomorrow night by the theater owner due to the threat of a lawsuit.
Dom is talking about it on his radio show but they are having some audio problems at the studio.
I hope this hasn't been posted - I did do a check.
I will endeavor to obtain more info.

What theatre? I thought it was going to be shown on the Sinclair stations, not in theatres There is suppose to be a special showing of the movie here in the Philly area .. Dom G. set it up and there would be a question and answer session after the show
I just turned on Dom's Radio show .. I'll let you know what else he reports

I'm an old WWDB fan from the 80's. What does Irv Homer have to say about the election? I last knew him to be broadcasting from Tom Brookshire's little radio station in Bucks County. There is so little talk Radio in Central Wisconsin.....All NPR stuff.

I guess if I was the theatre owner I would tell them where they could stick that lawsuit, for starters, and take out an ad in the local papers promoting the movie that is twice as big as any other ad for a movie in that paper.According to Dom G, this theater owner was not enthusiastic to show it at all. He felt that the political nature of it was kept from him.

Thanks for the post. If he doesn't want to show it, that's different. He can show or not show whatever he wants in his theatre as far as I'm concerned. Needless to say, if it were my theatre, I'd be giving away free popcorn with every ticket just to further piss off anybody who would threaten such a lawsuit.

Chad Clanton, Kerry's Senior adviser is on now talking about airing of this movie
Chad is saying what he said on Linda Vester's show was taken out of context

He's the guy that said "They better hope we don't win" on Fox the other day.
Someone else better be listening to this but I refuse to ruin my dinner listening to this guy's b/s.
Help me out Mo1!

Sounds like a live showing, as opposed to a theater release.

Chad Clanton states that Kerry will put the interests of big corporations like Sinclair Broadcasting ahead of the middle class.
Als Halliburton...drug companies...etc.etc.
DNC filed suit with the FEC over showing the film.

He says it is ridiculous to have Kerry on Sinclair to answer questions because he will be sand bagged

Dom says there are various lawsuits and threats about defamatory comments and that is why the movie theater won't air the movie
