Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Still round the corner there may wait...
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

"Yes, but he was a girl, too."LOL!
OK, that is a bit disturbing. And what's more worrying is that I understand.

Good morning!
We have an all day faculty and staff retreat today starting at nine thirty, so I won't be around this much. We're supposed to be discussing where we want to be in 2011. Rosie's answer: not here! But then...this is about the college, not me...
No computers involved, either, and it's off campus, so we can't sneak back at lunch to check e-mail and all. If the IT dept ends up in convulsions from full blown computer withdrawals by noon or so...they asked for it.
But I get a free meal out of it, and probably good coffee, too. Mmmm...coffee...

Hehehe.
Now now you should know better. Those poor geeks have no defenses against that sort of thing.
Ask Empress, she wrote essays on the subject hehehe

Mornin!
Corin - just go to the doctor. Whatever you have is undoubtedly cureable, but you need the right kind of medication to treat it. Wait any longer you could develop pneumonia and that's a whole different ballgame. Please just go.
*sigh* It's gloomy, rainy day here. But the good news is that after this passes, we'll actually have nice dry and cool temps in the 60s at night. YIPPEE!!

I think I am finally getting over the bug I have and it has been....3 weeks... or was if 4...
It sounds like your bug is more debilitating. Get that stuff looked at!

I'm really having some difficult days though. this sarbanes-oxley stuff is really getting to me. every time we meet about it, the goalposts move a little further away and I'm running out of time. i'm really really tired of dealing with it.I wonder if S-O's repeal is something that could be brought up in Congress when Dubya's re-elected. S-O is really a problem for folks; very unproductive use of time.
