Mine cost $290.

Yes, but I'd be willing to bet you've actually used yours...

Ya know, I've always considered it one of life's cruel ironies that you have to make coffee before having had coffee. Tricksy, it is.

Be prayin' for me...I've sworn off coffee. Again. I am having a horrible time with pressure in my chest. It's not cardiac, they've checked it. Most likely esophogeal spasms (a result of me being just so laid back and relaxed, don't you know. /sarcasm) Anyway, Steve and I actually turned off the TV and discussed it and I thought maybe drinking coffee was making it worse or at least not helping. So I'm gonna try going off it, maybe having a cup of tea now and then to get me through the worst part.

I don't usually tolerate going off coffee well.

Be praying for ya! Hope you feel better soon...

I saw a new kind of coffee at the store the other day that said it was reduced acidity...supposedly to help people that had trouble with the regular kind. I think it was instant and therefore probably not very good...but I thought the concept was interesting, in any case.

I swore off soda several years back because of the acidity but I never could swear off caffeine. My coffee irony is that I love the stuff be it often makes my stomach slightly annoyed (probably because I drink it black). I get most of my caffeine from very strong hot tea.

I think the coffee just keys me up too much...the caffeine, you know? I dunno. I'm just giving it a shot, see if it'll help take this pressure off my chest.

Mornin'. Mumble, groan... still sleepy. I have a midterm today, no fun.

I can give up coffee easily since I never started, but caffeine itself? No way. I can't get out the door without at least a can beforehand.

I generally alternate between coffee and tea...I'll get obsessed with one or the other for six months or so and then switch back. But I like both...

And tea is convenient at work 'cause I can just keep my desk stashed with all kinda tea bags. Coffee is trickier.

These days, I have one can before leaving. Two if it's a really bad morning. I put a 20-oz bottle in my pack, and unless something odd happens, that's it, after that it's water.

I usually finish the bottle by 11 or so, and am then awake for the day.
