Did it erupt? I've been watching off-and-on, and it looks the same to me. Did I miss it?

Yes, at 12:03 Pacific time, there was a gas and steam release and a tiny amount of ash. Activity still going on and the scientists aren't sure if there will be another erruption. The dome had a bulge before the mini erruption today, but the heat sensors didn't pick up magma. At this point, they are just studying and guessing.

IT DID ERUPT!!! IT DID! AND I MISSED IT. RATSO.

There were a few times this afternoon that I couldn't access it and it wouldn't refresh. The picture now looks very much the same as before. So, I scrolled down and OUILA! the times I couldn't get a pic was during the eruption.

Why do they think I was watching? A mountain gets boring after three hours, ya' know. I wanted to see it do something. AND I MISSED IT.

Maybe we can have a small earthquake, just for me.
