Ahhh, how fun! I need a trip down there, but it "ain't happenin" for a while. Too many other commitments. So it's a real treat to see your pics.

In NJ, a green van beong driven by a man with dark curly hair, gravelly voice, and protruding teeth tried to pick up a 6th grader.
This is the tenth time the same person has tried that in teh same area.
The cops are perplexed.
But apparently aren't perplexed enough to check into it further than circulating a "Parents be advised that.." letter.
The roses are in the far right corner - where you can see the ugly grey cinderblock. The way they are climbing though - I hope that will soon be hidden. I pruned them back for the winter but left a couple of the climber stalks.
That corner used to be totally bare, so I think it's an improvement. We had lousy weather the last few days (dastardly winds) so it was nice when the rainbow appeared yesterday.

Well, there were two instances I know of where I had a dream about visiting people.
Dreamed i was standing next to the bed, and they woke up and were startled to see me.
Next day I'm on the phone and hear about how they woke up in the middle of teh night and were freaked because they saw me standing there, and i was four states away.
Dream two: I'm in the middle of a field in a foxhole with a cigar smokin helmeted talking muskrat.
My best friend showed up and asked me if I wanted tea.
I asked her why she was in my dream and she responds with:
"I dunno, it's YOUR dream!"
Next day I get asked, "What the heck were you doing sitting in a foxhole with a talking muskrat?"
So, that's my story of weird occurences.
They look pretty decent.
Finally got my rose muscled back into the ground.
It's "soft planted" at the moment.
Means it's in a pot with mulch around the pot and a facade of dirt over top.
Very easy to dig back up, and keeps it from freezing the roots.
Dunno if that would work anywhere else.
Ground here is a nasty silty clay that holds water like a sponge.
Yep, they got me once more. But the reprogramming and chip replacement failed yet again and I'm backkkkkkkkkkkk.
Yeah; now these perps are just more victims. The sad thing is, these kids lives, but for an act of God, are ruined. They will never be right.
When I got back to the office today, there were 4 little kids that had been taken into foster care....the oldest, a 7 year old boy, and 3 girls, 6, 3 and a beautiful little baby girl, maybe 3 or 4 months old. The 2 oldest were sex perps. I have 3 such cases on my own caseload.
