Evenin... just got back from our neighbors house. Had a very nice time, and I'm talked and laughed out.
It's been a nasty rainy day here too. First rain we've seen so far. The lawn loves it..lol.
We have snow on the ground at home, so rain is not a bad thing.. ;)

Hi Westy, will try to take some pics around here when I get the chance. I have to stay pretty close to home for the next few days because I have some stuff coming here.
Now that I have some visiting over with I can try to get something done around here. Thanksgiving will be on top of us next.

It's been an "interesting" day around here. Besides the incident with the kids this morning, I had to gear up for battle with the squirrels again. They're back....and they've brought friends! One of the little b*stards blew a transformer and we were without power around here for about an hour and a half. At the same time, the cops were back in the area cruising around. It was kinda creepy. I went out and tried to rake some leaves, but after an hour and no noticeable dent, and with half the leaves still on the trees, I figured it would take me till next spring, so I suppose I will just hire somebody to do it.
It has been a little on the cool side today and the temperature is supposed to be in the 40's tomorrow. I don't care. I'm still wearing sandals tomorrow....after I put out the money for a pedicure. LOL! About the only time I wear real shoes is if there's snow on the ground or if I have to be outdoors for an extended amount of time in cold weather, or if I'm working in the yard in the summer and don't want my feet eaten by insects. Shoes are just not my thing.
By the way, if anybody is interested, "Liar, Liar" is coming on USA in 35 minutes. I don't care for Jim Carey, but I love that movie. It sparks my fantasies....particularly the one about democRATs being afflicted with the "truth" condition. Can you imagine how hysterical that would be if the democRATs couldn't lie?

Wow Libby, 40 is a little cold for down there isn't it? Brrrr..I thought you were in the south?
I'm like you Lib, I hate shoes, and in the winter at home I hated wearing anything but light shoes. I wore flip-flops for years after moving back from Calif, and I still go almost barefoot in the cold weather. Don't have to worry about that now.;)
You are really having a problem with squirrels there. I think they're aliens or something. Speaking of aliens, I swear I saw a UFO on the way down here. I will tell of it when I get a chance. (I'm sure it wasn't, but it was very interesting even so.)
I loved that movie, Liar, Liar. I know that I won't make it tho, as I had very little sleep last night, and a long day today. I need to get into something and somewhere more comfortable now. I'm starting to get that 'tired itch'. lol
And I got some good news. Besides the fact that, in spite of the election tension and the job tension, when I went to the doctor the other day, my blood pressure was 120/80, I got the results of my lab work today (yesterday actually, but I didn't check the mail till today) and everything is normal....thyroid, blood sugar, even my cholesterol is only insignificantly above perfect. Must be doing something right.
