"I have yet to have a cat try to kill me." 16 Signs Your Cat Wants to Kill You
1. Seems mighty chummy with the dog all of a sudden.
2. Unexplained calls to F. Lee Bailey's 900 number on your bill.
3. He actually *does* have your tongue.
4. You find a stash of "Feline of Fortune" magazines behind the couch.
5. Cyanide paw prints all over the house.
6. You wake up to find a bird's head in your bed.
7. As the wind blows over the grassy knoll in downtown Dallas, you get a faint whiff of catnip.
8. Droppings in litter box spell out "REDRUM."
9. Catch him with a new Mohawk looking in the mirror saying, "Mew looking at me? Mew looking at me punk?"
10. Takes attentive notes every time "Itchy and Scratchy" are on.
11. You find blueprints for a Rube Goldgerg device that starts with a mouse chased into a hole and ends with flaming oil dumped on your bed.
12. Has taken a sudden interest in the wood chipper.
13. Instead of dead birds, leaves cartons of Marlboros on your doorstep.
14. Ball of yarn playfully tied into a hangman's noose.
15. You find a piece of paper labeled "MY WIL" which says "LEEV AWL 2 KAT."
16. Now sharpens claws on your car's brake lines.

I'm not much of a dog person either. I've had dogs. Best one I ever had was a big chocolate standard poodle. That was a smart dog. I like intelligent animals. I prefer neat animals, too, for the most part. Dogs are a pain in the butt. You can't go anywhere for any length of time and leave them. They don't use a litter box and they will eat all their food at once. Then they get bored and will tear stuff up. There's lots of places you really can't take a dog and they're expensive to kennel, not to mention the risks involved.
My favorite critters, besides cats, of course, are horses, pigs and birds.

Besides cats, my faves are bats, snakes, lizards, and buzzards.

BOT, in that context, = Bushbot...a nickname for the diehard Bush worshipers around here who think he can do no wrong.

Another of Nermal's wet pictures. Yep; I definitely think he would've liked to kill me at that point.

Thank you very much. I was reading some of the Const. Party threads; even after the election things are very tense - and people are attacking each other left and right. Looks like in February a person was banned and took off to start his own CP website.

Poor baby kitty! They look so miserable when they are wet. I know it's mean and I felt bad when Mango fell in the pool (while he was chasing a bird), but he looked so cute and funny.

LOL about # 8918!
Yeah, it took me an hour to wade through the vitriol and nastiness to see that folks were saying the 3rd party'ers should start at local levels instead of immediately shooting for the Presidential slot. I can understand that, but I could not understand the anger and nasty comments going around: from Post 1 on. I researched several third party threads and they were all the same.
-BBL! Enjoy your football :)
