Just wondering. If he ever has the time. I wonder if it would be against against any campaign rule for a candidate to solicit votes on a message board/blog? Would Free Republic allow it?

Bush MAKES the news. I am sure a staffer briefed him about Buckhead though.

You think it was easy schlepping the IBM Selectric Composer over to Fort Marcy Park?

Yeah, I think I saw this message from user Dubya43 on FreeRepublic a few weeks back:
"Howdy folks. This is President Bush. Someone else already took 'Dubya' so I had to improvisionize my name. Please wontcha vote fer me this November?"
Like most people on FreeRepublic, I was going to vote for John Kerry until I saw that, but now I've changed my vote to George W. Bush!

Would Free Republic allow it? He'd last about 5 minutes before being zotted. </sarcasm>

W is too busy protecting the nation to have time online.
But I bet his Mom and Dad read here and tell him some of what goes on.

He got banned. I think it was one of those incendiary Barbecue threads. Or it might have been one of those "do beans belong in chili" things that got so many FReepers tossed. You gotta watch yourself around here.

Well, I don't know about President Bush, but Mingus' website (http://www.members.cox.net/mingusthecat) has received 6 hits from Chappaqua, NY, in the past month.....and she had 3 hits from Hyannis, MA, in the month before that.....

Doubt it. If he ever did, we'd know it. There would first be a sudden mass zotting of DU pinheads, a cavalcade of Admin Mods would zoom through, our screens would go blank, then come up with INTERNET ONE flashing on them, and our speakers would start piping up with "Hail to the Chief." :^)
