Nowthat the convetions are over, now that both candidates are out in "battleground" states, it is critical that we do not get over-confident in the commanding lead from our commander in cheif. I, like most of you are as bumped as I have ever been, but I am forcing myself to think of Bush as 10 POINTS DOWN! I am calling on all of you to take this stand and to work as hard as we possibly can to make sure that we close the deal on election day.
On the day after the election, when we have "come back" from this 10 point "defecit", we can all take pride in fighting to the end like a true champion. We are showing America and the world how to run a right, true, honest but fierce campaign and for this we should all be proud, but not until after election day. Let's finish this!!! Sixx
Yo, pillman. Your morale outrage and wounded innocense might come off better if you hadn't pinged me to respond to you with:
"You have got the weirdest fixation with third party people that I've ever seen. It seems that every other post of yours denigrates them. Is there a pathological fear of some kind there? You might want to seek some psychological help for that."
What a loser.
Yeah, I got bumped after having convetions but found out that there's a treatment for that.
No vanity here. Maybe you haven't noticed but for the last two days it's been nothing but "Bush, Up 11", "Bush Gets Wide Convention Bounce", "AOL Shows ALL Red States!!!". I just want to be cautiously optimistic and finish this bad boy strong!! As far as me being a "noob", well, you gotta start somewhere. Thanks for the welcome! Sixx
I always find these entertaining and a good break from serious discussion on other threads.
I thought this was going to be a story by the New York Times that said something like, while Bush did get a bounce from his convention, he is still 10 points down from where his poll numbers were at one time.
"newbie", how original. Name calling, what a joke. Sixx
PLEASE add "vanity" to this post.
Even when JimRob pens one, he writes "vanity."
We must not get too confident that is for sure,as the campaign is not over until it is over, and we can't even be sure when that will be anymore! :-)
In re your tagline: I'm sure Condi does, but she has a spine...
You'll also get frequent lessons on what is and is not appropriate to post, and where you should have posted it instead and tons of other helpful advice.
But welcome anyway you ignorant Newbie. And by the way, I like the premise of your thought on the poll numbers.
Ah yes, and they use any method, legal or not to get the people to the polls! Would that we would do half the job they do!
Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa...hold on there buckwheat. I think you have me mistaken with pat buchanan.
I'm more worried now than I have been for the entire campaign. I can't really put my finger on why. But I think it has something to do with having a lead to blow and Republicans becoming complacent.
That's cool, oldie. Sixx
