Here's a theory that I wish to posit
You can take to the bank and deposit
In two months we'll be merry
When Bush crushes Kerry
Sure as McGreevey is out of the closet

Did you guys check out georgwbush.com?

I understand the polotics of incrementalism, but what that gives us is a left party and a moderate party. Hence my POV that true conservatism is dead. Take a look at his site, you'll see a lot of federal growth. Who gets to pay for that?

If he would have had more details regarding the conservative issues, or at least as many details as the moderat issues, on his agenda then I wouldn't be so discouraged.

The bottom line is that I don't see much releif for me and I was hoping for some incentive to quit the thoughts of taking the big "Shrug". At least with a second term, I'll be alive and free enough to make that choice!

Take a look at his agenda and let me know what you think.

Thanks for the clarification. I agree the moderates see things in a different light. But they are moderates for a reason, they are either to lazy or to frightened to search out their own positions and chose a side. Yes, they now decide the elections and yes that is why we are in the position we have today.

no, my friend is self-described as not particularly religious, which means that prolife is not on her plate, that is what makes her a moderate. she has firm convictions, just doesn't share all of mine.

Thanks for the clarification. I agree the moderates see things in a different light.

Not to mention we spent 4 years trying to buy them off and it has yieled what 3 votes/voters???????

I think even Rove has figured this out in that they are concentrating on getting out their vote, instead of fighting with Kerry over the last 8 undecided voters.

The kerry camp, poised for pessimistic employment numbers, posited that the new jobs report would bring bad news for the president. Boy were they wrong!

Kerry Campaign Waiting for August Job Report

Hey two-johns, here's a tip: So far, you haven't found an issue that you can win on. I stop to think about this for a minute and can't come up with a single issue that would tip the scales in your direction. People are beginning to recognize your campaign for the P-O-S it is. On November 2, when we see who comes out on top, is it within you to concede defeat graciously, or will you whine and pout? By the way, be careful if bill or hillary offers you any drinks to sip on in the next few days. Have Tereza drink first, then "accidentally" spill the rest and sop it up with a disposable towel. You never know what they might be willing to do "for the good of the party". Oh my prediction for November 3: the only thing that will dull your pain is pot.

I'm not sure.....I think today will decide that - it's open house day and we will find out what class she will be in.

Because bee-shells are too small and dee-shells are too big.

Hell, I've called it the liberal party vs. the socialist party. I'm really looking forward to the 2008 primaries, I think we'll see some fireworks as conservatism isn't dead it's just resting.

1st grade.........and the odds are very high that she will have the same teacher as last year. The kindergarten teacher moved to 1st grade....she requested that she be given the same students, and her husband told my husband that she also specifically requested Jax be in the class.
