Heh... I know all about the "did I turn the coffee pot off?" debate.
Every time I actually went home to check, it was off.
And sometimes when I didn't, it was on. ;~D
My absolute worst coulda-burned-the-house-down moment of forgetfulness was when I left the broiler on the oven on ALL DAY. The house was TOASTY warm when I got home, and my next propane bill was a bit high, but the house was still standing...so I guess that's positive...
Steve's home. Sprained his ankle yesterday playing basketball during lunch. It's huge and he can't stand on it. But at least it's not broken!
Anyway, they told him to not bear any weight on it for two days and so he's got a brace and crutches.
So I won't be around much...
That's why, when I bought a new coffee maker, I made sure it had an automatic 'shut off' after 2 hours!
