Eleventh Thread: Wedding Edition: The Hobbit Hole XI - No One Admitted Except on Wedding Business!
New verse:

Upon the hearth the fire is red, |
Still round the corner there may wait |
Home is behind, the world ahead, |

I was just funnin' ya. I don't get the anime attraction, but I unnerstand spendin' more than you plan...
High price and too much crappy programming?
Heh...you don't live with kids and an old woman.
Corin's world would be all that much more horrible without Nickleodeon and The Hallmark Channel...
Yeah, yeah...I know you'd be the first one tuh asked tuh see it...
*Shudder*
Who's Gerard Butler?
No, it's OK, I may not need to know!
The guy that played Merek - the guy who stayed behind.
Not only is he perhaps the most attractive actor in show biz (maybe not even perhaps), he also has a gorgeous accent...I'm a sucker for such things.
And now you know! ;-)
Yeah, I admit to having liked that character pretty well.
Cool that his image was on the tomb, along with the French gal.
It didn't occur to me that the guy was attractive, though!
;-)
JOhn KErry
*snif* they grow up so fast
'course he's still po'd at me that I won't sign the permission form for him to participate in some socialist health survey excercise at skul. VCU (Virginia Commonwealth University) is doing a study about family health history. They ~say~ it's confidential.
But, as I told Jr., our family health history is NONE OF THEIR BUSINESS.
He's concerned he'll get extra busy work. I'm willing to fight the battle for him to get a comparable amount of work to the study.
Like I said...

Sorta?
LOL!
Sounds like he's growin' up right, no pun intended...
Your tagline is right on the money, funny how conservatives have now become the counter culture and the ordinary people, the 6 pack Joes. It might not have been that way if the Democrats hadn't made it so plain that they mean to be our masters, in the worst sense of that word.
Kerry is the quintessential arrogant wealthy elite fellow, while W is just the ordinary guy, but with purpose.
Not that I really know what quintessential means, probably just misused it.
Good job, Jr!
I don't get the anime thing either! I can't possibly explain why I like cartoons in Japanese when I dislike almost all other forms of television. Possibly because it's geeky and weird.
Take the one whose name I shouldn't really mention to you: "Full Moon wo Sagashite". It's about a 12 year old girl dying of cancer who is trying to achieve her dream of becoming a pop singer with the help of two cute Angels of Death who turn her into a 16 year old so she can sing. Weird, huh? But I like it.
I told my latest victim... er... friend who asked what anime is, just before handing her the first disks of two different series, that I think almost anyone could like anime if they were given the right series. Make that "anyone who concedes cartoons as a valid medium". But it is an acquired taste. Which is why Animoot liked the basement so much! Nobody to laugh at our giant fighting robots, guys who look like girls, and random sex changes.
IOW, I don't chase women only because God wants to show me one in particular, and the fact that I have reached 40 without that happening yet is strictly a test of my faith.

hehehehe.....must not comment...
I watched her sit up for the first time today! She wasn't able to repeat the feat later. I don't think she's figured out how she did it. Yet.
