Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
...Pass them by! Pass them by!
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

Heh, I was actually looking for some better picks when I came across this one. I chose this one cuz the guys were from Olympia, and the pick was taken at Tumwater. I seriesly doubt Hair knows any of them, but I thought it would be fun to ask. LOL...

Ditto that.
Afternoon. Class was fun. The professor decided to make us do on-the-spot coding (on paper) rather than lecture. I got to boss other people around ("you write this function, you write something that does this")
Now... hour and a half to other class, hour and a half of class, get on the bus, go home, clean up, go to anime club, come home, try to code something...

Ever seen or met any of these folks? They're evidently from Olypmia. What do the shirts say? What's the name of the group?

Spent the whole day in meetings since we're all trying to create the payroll department's Mission Statement. *sigh*

Do it Better
I really don't know who they are as far as clubs go. I just thought it was neat that they were from your neck of the woods.

But this is not the one you have a picture for, right?
We just got back from Matthew's Latin class. I'm exhausted. Thank heaven for pre-made hamburger helper!

I've already got a push mower....it lives on the patio.
Lot's not quite a quarter acre...I'd be embarrassed to be seen mowing it with a rider!
To: Overtaxed
Ah...is it self-propelled? Mine isn't and I can't do our whole yard...as a matter of fact, I went on strike and didn't do any of the yard this summer!

Nope. I don't want the thing going anywhere I don't put it.

Evening OT; good luck on the offer; nice looking place, ya want some iris and asiatic lilies? :-)
To: Overtaxed
Steve gave me my push mower for my birthday a few years back...it's hugh. Nearly kills me every time I try to push it, it's so heavy.
Poppin' some corn, gonna sit down with the kids and watch Body Snatchers.
