Gooooooooood Morning!
Good morning...
Good morning! I can almost taste fall here...it's my favorite season, so I'm not opposed to the seasons changing, though it seems like the growing season this year was pitiful. We went blackberry picking on Sunday, and though I got a couple pints, there were TONS of unripe berries. Usually by August, there are more overripe than unripe.
Tonight is music night. We're preparing for our first actual concert, which is a little scary - to me, anyway. It's a benefit concert for one band member's church, so not THAT big of a deal...but originally there was a band coming from Georgia or some such...we were just gonna open for them. Now, turns out they can't make it, so we're the stars. And it's gonna be advertised on radio and in the newspaper and on TV, and I think broadcast as well. Once again, it's not THAT big of a deal, but it is to me! Hope we do OK. We're getting better all the time!
Corin, hope you get your truck soon! Burgandy sounds purty. Heh...couldn't help doing an informal survey on the way to work here as far as truck brands go. The newer ones are mostly a mix of Toyota, Dodge, Ford, Chevy and GMC, though Ford has a slight edge over Chevy in the top two. And the really old, amazing-they're-still-rolling trucks all seem to be Ford and GMC. Isn't GMC basically a Chevy, though?
In any case, it could be more an availability thing than anything, but I couldn't help payin' attention.
