Now we all know that being an Evil Overlordess you would never misuse authority :)
Five servers sounds like a lot to me! Only thing resembling backup I ever had to do was when I supervised the night shift of a data entry department and before locking up for the night I had to start the process of backing up the data on those ancient reel-to-reel magnetic tapes (this wasn't that long ago but I guess those tapes are still useful for that kind of thing). I don't know if that's at all like what's involved in the type of backup you do.
Light rain is nice. I like thunder and lightning while sitting on a porch though probably not walking in, especially not if I'm carrying books that might get wet. But one of the coolest experiences I've had, though somewhat scary, was when I was walking in the sand down by Lake Michigan and I got caught in a sudden downpour with thunder. It started raining and blowing so hard and got so dark I could barely get off the beach and climb back up the hill to the sidewalk. Meanwhile lightning was crashing all around me. I was somewhat worried I would get stuck on the beach in the storm. But I got back to the sidewalk, and in retrospect it was pretty fun. Probably wouldn't have been as fun if I'd got stuck, though!
"Backing up" means remembering to pop out yesterday's tape and put in today's. It's got a script that runs in the middle of the night and actually do it.
Um, the authority we're talking about misusing is the power to get into people's files. That includes professors. It's not a joking matter.
