Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
...Hill and water under sky
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

Oh Ramius, that sucks!
No way to change it now? I'd suggest Miami, but we may have a hurricane here that weekend. :-D

Raptor Island? Does it have any iguanas trying to moonlight as dinosaurs?
To: Overtaxed
Worse.
Poorly done CGI combined with terrible acting. Cheesimus-maximus.

Started Passage yet? Still reading the book I had first. I'll probably start Passage this weekend.
*sigh* Ya know, I've been walking in the mornings for what, months now? And just in the last week, my shoes are suddenly giving me horrible blisters. As in, I won't be able to exercise tomorrow morning or maybe even this weekend unless I can think of something that doesn't require shoes. Why this would crop up NOW, I dunno...I thought it was shoes that needed breaking in that caused troubles.

I think that is a shared sentiment. I want it to be Friday night in the worst way.
And I have to take Anne bowling tomorrow night. I do enjoy being involved with the Best Buddies program, but I shouldn't have done it at this point in my life. I just have too many commitments and responsibilities right now.
It's just something else I have to schedule into the very limited free time I have.
Sorry to sound so selfish.
