Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
...Hill and water under sky
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

BWAHAHAHAHAHA! Did you hear the Bush team response to Kerry's request for weekly debates?
"There will be a time for debates after the convention, and during the next few weeks, John Kerry should take the time to finish the debates with himself.

Yes, much easier - although there's a lot of manga available online, too. Scanlations.
Heh, my younger sisters leech anime from me. They're mad that I moved and took my manga with me.

They said that? They actually said that?
Man, who let that past the wussy-sensor-types?

I'm back. Doc told me I could take the patch off this evening. I took it off in the car on the way home. (It's very hard to drive!) To compensate, I'm going to bed and lying down and letting the eye rest.
The jedis are thrilled. Minimal school today!
See you all later.

Yay! I know you don't know me, but I'm glad to hear that your surgery went well. Yes! Go sleep!

LOL!! I wish it was something as dramatic as surgery...unfortunately I got hit in the eye with the wing of a flapping chicken. Put a 2mm abrasion on my cornea.
Same eye I hit with a plug from a handi-chopper (mini food processor thing) a year ago. Took a chunk out that time. Sigh.

Our girls are usually pretty sweet...she didn't mean to hurt me! She was just flapping down of my lap and my eye got in the way.
We do have one chicken that I don't like much. Her name is Puffy and she has a tendency to peck more than she needs to. She lays huge eggs, though...
Did you see the jedis holding a couple of the chickens? One of them, Benny Hen, is so sweet that she coos and sits on your lap. Will sit there all day if you let her. She likes to visit with me while I hand out the laundry...passing back and forth between my feet, just cooing away. It's funny!
I believe my chickens call me "She Who Can Fix Anything."
I love my chickens...LOL!! I was scoffed at a bit here when I said I wanted to get some chickens as pets...but they turned out to be such sweet girls. We started out with two...now we have six.
