Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
...Hill and water under sky
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

HA! Things you don't want to hear from your Gynecologist. That could be it's own thread.

Nice... really nice.
Ok, almost ready for shopping! I spent the last hour outlining what I'm doing for my first programming assignment. Since I'm rusty in Java, it'll take a while longer. The problem itself isn't that complicated, once I solve this little recursion issue.
Now I get to go enjoy myself! One chapter of a textbook to read tonight, but otherwise the evening's mine.

I think Cartman is too far gone for MJ treatment! ;-)
Seriously though, my offer still stands if you need a contribution. It isn't cheap to have an eye removed simply because of the area your working on. Even cherry eyes are expensive to remove!
I am glad to hear that Gidget hasn't broken anything. Whew! And the Rimadyl will relieve any arthritis pain she has that is adding to the discomfort. Sweet dog!

I don't think she has arthritis... yet... but Rimadyl is being used as a general anti-inflammatory that is better than others for dogs.

Or you could just wear safety glasses around the chickens. And in the kitchen when handling small appliances, don't forget.
To: HairOfTheDog
That's true and she really should be on a D-I-E-T, but I'm sure you've already heard that today.
Disclaimer: All of RMDupree's pets have been downright obese.

Good ani-pal news, especially for the pup.
BTW, The Family Guy is back and is totally ripping off Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.

The vet said "Oh - and about the weight problem, if you want to come and use our scale every week or so to see if you are on track, feel free!"
I said.... "Me? - or the dog?"

Good evenin' sir!
At least today is over. I've got a hideous training waiting for me tomorrow that starts at 8:30am, first thing in the morning. *groan*
That barely gives me enough time to enjoy my first cup of coffee. There outta be a law aganist having meetings before 10am!

10am? Wow... you must be a morning person. I try not to schedule any meetings until 1pm. I'm kinda crabby in the morning. :-)

I just pinged you to this thread (
Daughter is going Airborne... 82nd... ) .... and it occurred to me that we should have a 'counter' on the page, for knives shipped.... you could update ecurbh as needed, weekly, or after a good number have gone out. I think the number is in the high 200s right? We could say right on the page
"Over 275 knives sent to date" or something... What do you think? What is the current count?
To: ExGeeEye
That would fly if I didn't know them personally. *grin*

I've been known to fall completely asleep - head hittin' the conference table - in afternoon meetings...I'm a morning person, for sure!
