Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
...Hill and water under sky
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

I'm having oatmeal agin. Yeah, I know it's not as nutritious as flax...but BOY is it ever good. I'd forgotten just how good...the steel-cut kind, that is. With Splenda and cinnamon and peanut butter.

I was gonna have the flaxseed meal, but now you've talked me into oatmeal!
And a cup of blueberries.

You can always add a tablespoon or so of flax to your oatmeal - get both!
Mmm...blueberries. I need to get more...I'm about out.

That's a good idea! I try to eat about 4 tbsp a day.
These blueberries are frozen. Ouch, hard on the teeth!

But I'm a nice person!
I think it fitting that it happened to me in a post to Rosie.
I still see my initial picture of Willy Wonka's Violet turning into a blueberry.

I got the pic after I posted the url into my browser...

Rosie, last I heard about the Russian planes is that they believe there were no survivors on either plane. Each plane carried about 100 people.
And, IIRC, they news this a.m. said they didn't ~think~ it was terrorism...
But it sure is odd.

Both from the same airport, both going down with no survivors within a few minutes of each other, and it's just a coincindence.
Riiiight.
I'm not a tinfoil hat type, but...that's awfully hard to swallow.

Fox has some pretty good info. It sounds like one of them set the IFF to a 'hijack' squawk just before it went down. They say it 'disapeared off radar' which usaully means the IFF was shut down.

Good morning!
Today should be a good day. One class, and it's not a mind-blowing one. This afternoon I have to go shopping, I'm almost out of vegetables, sodas, and cheese.
