Wonder if my mother gets that channel. The last time we were at her house, one of those cartoon channels had Spiderman on, like three or four episodes one after another.
an odd movie, but whenever it's on, I HAFTA watch it.
Our program based on traditional Taekwondo for kids is called Karate for Kids.
I liked the first few episodes of that. Haven't seen much since the first season--keep meaning to catch up on that.
There is also a new Spider-Man cartoon which used to run on MTV a year or so ago, but I understand they moved it to another station recently so younger kids could watch it--not sure what station, though. The new one is computer-animated and looks kind of like a video game; the 90s one is traditional animation.
'kay, Spidey's over and I found "Dead Zone". Johnny's girlfriend is crying about Greg Stillson killing someone. What'd I miss?
'kay, thanks! Is the Rachel girl who got killed because she had the camera Johnny's girlfriend's sister, then?
Maybe they were all men, refused to ask for directions and ended up on the wrong planet.
...without wearing any protection?
Let's try to keep this a family thread.
Evenin' folks. Been a busy day. Church this mornin'. Then I actually got to work in the yard this afternoon. I think it's the first time in about 6 weeks (or more that it's been dry enough to do so).
Wife had baked some desserts to take to church. We're part of a ministry to the homeless. About 30-some folks (mostly moms and kids) spend a week in area churches on a rotating basis. So tonite was the choir nite to fix dinner. The Oreo cake she baked fell right before she was gonna leave. So we scrounged up a punch bowl and she piled it all in. She walked in with it and the ladies said "it's beautiful." heh...
Jr. and I went to see Spiderman 2 tonite. Vey cool. We were the only ones in the theater!
Don't know if I said this but Luke and Nana are spendin' the week in North Carolina. Well, until wife goes to get them on Thursday.
I need to update my website. But it's not gonna happen tonite.
ROFL!
Only ones in the theater, eh? That reminds me I need to see that again before it's gone. . .
Funny story on the cake :)
Good evening, Corin ;~D
Okay, I think I'm caught up, then. The vision Johnny just had of the White House was in the original book--looks like they're kind of spacing the book out over a few seasons.
BTW, saw the ad for "Escape from LA" tomorrow--LOL! I want to see the original "Escape from New York" again :)
They've referenced the Stilson vision before. Johnny has also made psychic contact with a "seer" from the future, who lives amidst the devastation. Unfortunately, the future seer was in a coma while the devastation happened, so he doesn't know what caused it...
I found some Whole Wheat Reduced Carb tortillas at Trader Joe's. They're 6 total carbs with 2 fiber carbs for 4 NET carbs each! They are very tasty, and I had two of them the other night when we had fajitas! YUM!
good evenin'
good nite.
;-)
What brand of Splenda ice cream did you buy?
Is the guy with scarred face and glazed eyes he's talking to now the future seer?
