Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
...Hill and water under sky
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

EGE: evening, someone else with an AR-7? Although there must have been a lot made, rarely see anyone else with one. Mine has the black stock.

Hey, that's kinda fun! I started at the highest level and got 2,377 on my first try. What's a good score?

A friend at work broke a million today. And he played the expert level! I've only played the easy level.
I think the challenge is surviving and then seeing how fast you can type. The game gets MUCH harder as new creatures and different color sharks are introduced.

The 23rd of August, but I start my assistantship next week. Not that that'll help my social life, the only people around campus right now are faculty and staff. But I'm going to a church on Sunday; and tomorrow I've decided to crash the Fort Collins Anime Club meeting.

5,759 on my second try. . .
Yes, this does look addicting! :) I'll try Insaniquarium after I do this a few more times--wanna see if I can beat my high score. . .

I hadn't see it, but I just bookmarked it!
I'd love to play Simon...just as soon as I kick these aliens' butts in my tank....

I'm on the X-treme level. The !@#$%^&*() are the ones they're getting me on. Also my hands are tired because I've been typing all day and my joints are acting up. I need to try this when I'm fresh sometime.

Yeah, that's the one I was using to play Pac-Man on before, but it quit working for a while. Looks like it's up again--thanks!!! I like playing Space Invaders, Asteroids, and Donkey Kong on that one. For Pac-Man, this site is also good--has the settings slightly different than that one and it's a little easier to manage the controls:

Famous last words.....Yep! :) That's usually how I end up spending three hours on a video game--"I'll just play one more time until I tie my last high score. . ." [three hours later:] "Just one more game. . ."

Tricksey, it is!

Yep...black stock...black all over, actually...here's a funnie...I bought mine "brand new", had been sitting around that particular gun shop for about 10 years, or so said the guy...I rusted the steel barrel that came with it testing the flotation theory and then not cleaning it right away (and I was in the Army at the time! Shame!) so I ordered a new plastic steel-lined barrel from the website. Very cool.

Cool! I don't think you'll have long before your social life takes off, and as one of my friends at work likes to say, "be careful what you wish for!" ;)
