Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
...Hill and water under sky
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

I haven't heard you sing! You didn't at Entmoot when I was there.
The more the merrier where music making is concerned!

I made a big pot of taco meat last night, it should do me three or four meals. It's good eaten in lettuce wraps! But I'm low of cheese, too.
Hmm, and I've got chicken I could do something with...

Well, I wish you'd find the music to Lonesome Dove!! I can't find it anywhere! I'll do some checking, OK? Tonight or maybe during lunch. If it exists, I should be able to find it...I think.
But not all movie music is released as sheetmusic, unfortunately. Might be able to find someone someone transcribed themselves, though.

Hmm, and I've got chicken I could do something with...Mm...that's what I should do for dinner. Maybe with something like lime, ginger, and something a little hot - red pepper flakes or cayenne.

I've decided on the chicken. Last time I marinated it in Italian dressing and grilled it. I'm thinking stir-fry this time.

Yeah, and this was a "made for TV" series...might be even harder to find.
But it's so pretty!

Mmm...Italian dressing. Betcha I could do something with olive oil and balsamic vinegar and some fresh oregano and thyme that would be rather tasty.
I love my herb garden!

If nothing else, a midi can sometimes be converted to sheet music. I think I have a program at home that'll do it.

I watched #43 last night. I don't know what to think of Mustang. What is he up to? I got #44 downloaded and will watch it tonight.
I think, other than #40, I kind of like Fork's subtitling.

Sounds very good!
Ugh, if I'd gotten up earlier I could have done laundry before work instead of after. That'll teach me...

I think that, as it is projected to be a category 2, we will stay here at home if it hits.
Not to mention that, as fast as it is moving, time I get everything buttoned up, it will be too late to go anywhere.
With a little luck though, it'll pass by far enough to the west that we can stay out of trouble.

Yeah, their 44 was good. But the video was fuzzy.
Mustang? I dunno... I think he can be taken at his word. but I had a well-thought-out theory last night that basically said Sloth isn't really their Homunculus, but someone's pretending that she is only now I can't remember why I thought that.
Does this anime ever sound like a car commercial, though? Between the "Nii-sans" and the "Mustangs"?
