Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
...Hill and water under sky
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

I had to quit after four screens the first time because it looked like it could go on forever :) Ruthy, I'm afraid you were right about it being addicting. . .

"An Analysis of IP Packet Routing and its Effect on Large File Transfers" OR... as I see it around my WAN... "Let's upload the entire collection of The Simpsons from my home computer to my office server and see what happens... "
Grrrr...

Yes, you warned me Ruthy, and I didn't listen, LOL! Now the Ring is taking me over. . .
Have a good night, you two!

Good night to both of you... will be cashing in soon here too.

Gyah.... drooling in awe... whoa. I was right about A, sort of right about B, wrong on C, and not sure what D does to my theories.
Um, I'm sure you'll see it before your kids do but there was, er, one nasty word in the sub. And two lines that I think were translated wrong. One of 'em had to be a comment on Ed's height but it was translated differently...
Oh, man, this series is seriesly, seriesly awesome. Cool. Sugoi, any other sounds of amazement you want.

Um, Neon Genesis Evangelion. Even if one expects to neither like nor understand it, it is a must watch for any anime buff.

Doh! I should've known that one--didn't put the abbreviation together with the title there :) Glad you mentioned that, though--that's another one I should keep an eye out for when I go to the store Thursday.
To: Fedora
No, you shouldn't. Eva's really a "watch the anime" or nothing, the manga's for fans of the anime. And you'd better be prepared to shell out massive bucks for Eva the series, followed by Eva the movies which have the "ending real people understand".
And if you do ask, it's Ay-vah.

OK, I think I've got everything done that I needed to get done tonight, so I'm going to bed.
Good night all!
