Thanks for the ping, Jen!

Pippin, for pricing, Overstreet is the industry standard (unless something has changed since I got out of touch with things--Bear?). I'm part of a Marvel Comics group on Yahoo that you might try posting some of that on:

Oldschool Marvel Fans

I might be interested in the Dark Shadows issue myself--that's based on the TV show, right?

Thanks, Fedora!

That DS comic book is based on the TV series, it features Barnabas Collins.

It's cover price was 15 cents it is dated August 1971.

I paid $2.75 for it about 10 years ago.

it's a Gold Key comic book and in a protevtice plastic cover.

Yes, the Overstreet Price Guide is the standard for pricing comics. You might be able to find a copy in a large bookstore such as Barnes & Noble or Borders, in the "collectibles" section. However, I don't recommend buying it; it costs something like $20-$25 new, and it's only worth getting if collecting and selling comics is a real hobby for you. Otherwise, just make a list of what you have and take it into the store with you, so you can look them up. ;)

Alternatively, you can look for a comic book store in your area. They should be able to help you figure out what you have and what it's worth; they may even offer to buy them from you. However, if they do, they'll probably only give you 50% of the actual value; they have to resell it, after all, and can't charge more than the guide price.

A third option is selling them on eBay for whatever you can get. If you're not familiar with eBay though it can be kind of intimidating.
