Good morning! MAN did we get rain last night. We had times at the jam last night where we gave up trying to play, 'cause we couldn't hear ourselves over the roar of the rain on the roof. It was something.
Luckily it doesn't seem to have rained as hard here, just twenty minutes away. I was afraid the garden would be washed away!
Looks like it's done for now, though.
I'm going to have some pancakes (for breakfast whole wheat or flax seed, haven't make up my mind) and then walk over to the farmer's market at nine. After that I have a whole DAY with nothing I HAVE to do until late afternoon. Wow. I'm not sure I can handle the freedom.
Good Morning All - Raining here and, from the looks of the radar, it's gonna be here awhile. No matter - osage stave awaits on the bow bench.
A coolish rainy July is unusual to say the least. Looks like Hair et.al. are getting our weather. Well, sorry bout that, but we got august and september to look forward to.
OT: sounds like the unpacking is coming along well. House hunting proceeding as planned?
Ruthie: kitchen coming together is great news. Getting the workmen gone and things back will be a big relief, we are sure of that.
Will be dropping off the camera today for developing. Hoping for good Gypsy pics and some more from MoJAM.
Ah, so you did get our rain! You have two gigs this weekend, right? Did you get in the practice last night, or just the jam?
Sunny day here. I have loads of packing to do.
