Heh, yes, it's got a lot of little moments when the character's face gets all funny looking. I think it's called "chibi" style, and is meant, usually, to show anger/embarressment/surprise. You get used to it after a while, it's just a thing they do. I think it's just because it's hard to draw expressions. Especially on a suit of armor.
I think the art style has a lot in common with Scrapped Princess, at least as compared to other anime I've seen. It has the same vibrant colors, at least.

Yeah, except for the "chibi" thing, it's very similar in a lot of ways. I like all the colors! And some of the backgrounds are lovely.

I had a few plants in pots last year, but I think they weren't in the sun enough. They didn't really do that well. Actually, it may not be too late for me to get some small potted chiles - the guy I got them from is at the farmers' market all summer and continues to sell some plants along with the actual produce. So we'll see.
Unfortunately, this just isn't really a good pepper growing climate.
