That's a lovely poem, Hair. I am thankful that God took her before she was too far gone. She could actually remember folks when they came to see her. She hadn't lost her entire past and self, and though it was frustrating for her, and for us, she hadn't been taken completely away yet.

Yet, the part of her that I loved and missed the most as time went on, was her ability to chatter continually (see, I get it honest!!). In her desire to try to fool herself and others that she didn't have this disease, she just stopped talking for the most part, so that she wouldn't say something that wasn't right for the situation. I never thought I'd miss her yakking, but I did.
