Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
...Let them pass! Let them pass!
(Note to dwarves, this is only meant figuratively)
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

I'm hungry. Notice how Ruthy gets a new stove and she stops cooking...
To: HairOfTheDog
Whatcha hungry for? Discuss amongst yourselves. . .
To: Fedora; Corin Stormhands
"What have I got" is probably the more relevant question!
Be back in a bit. - gonna go hunt and gather.

Oh, we got your mail yesterday.
My daughter said it left off at quite a cliffhanger. I don't know yet because they have watched them all, a couple times, and I'm only on episode 4.

Heh, tell them if they're not good, I'll send the next cd without episode 42. 41 has a really, really nasty cliffhanger...
You'd better catch up and see just what your kids have been viewing!

You with your woman-bashing threads... you're almost as bad as Corin and the Crusades.
I'd lose my reputation around here unless I pretend like I don't know what you're talking about over there, though ;-)

I'd get home from work and all four of 'em are in the bedroom glued to the computer monitor watching the latest episodes. ;^)

You already admitted to knowing why you shouldn't buy shrink-wrapped manga...
