Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
...Let them pass! Let them pass!
(Note to dwarves, this is only meant figuratively)
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

Yes, they are! They're quite glad for me and they like where I'll be living and Mom keeps assuring me that she really believes I'm capable of handling life on my own. We've also got a family board set up so we can stay up to date with each other and chat and such.

Announcing.....
the latest
Hobbit Hole Wedding!!!
On July 9, Schlohweiss (aka Myranda) was married to a young man in her life of whom you have not heard me speak. (for now I think I'll refer to him as Mr.Schloh as he is not familiar with the M-I-L's penchant for Hobbit Hole friends yet.) Mr. Schloh is a native of Isreal and a nice young man. He is very much in love with Schlohweiss and is getting along well with the M-I-L also. :-)
They are in the kitchen cooking my dinner as I freep. I will have to explain freeping to him later. LOL...
Schlohweiss is very happy. :-)
The couple will live in Austin where Mr.Schloh works. We will be catching up with Bear and Rose to have a dinner moot very soon so they can meet the new guy as well.
I hope you will all join me in prayers for the new couple as they begin their life together. Thanks. :-)

Well, Mr.Shloh came and read that for Myranda and I! LOL
He asked me if you were Jewish. I told him you was a hometown gal that knows Hebrew. LOL.
The couple have been with me at Grama's house in Meridian for a couple of days. So, he's seen areas close to your home country. :-)

It's made of 1/8" birch plywood.

'twas a kit granddad got elf-boy for his birthday. I think it is balsa, but PE was the one who helped with the putting together of it. (I was upstairs feeding bittygirl and then taking a nap.)
