Eleventh Thread: Wedding Edition: The Hobbit Hole XI - No One Admitted Except on Wedding Business!
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, |
Still round the corner there may wait |
Home is behind, the world ahead, |
The race isn't on network this weekend :( so I'm watching KC today (ouch!) and listening to the Cubs (ouch! ouch!) Think I'll make tomato sauce today.
~smiles~
I remembered you talking about the old guys!! Almost exactly a year ago!
It's 67 degrees outside!! This is unheard of, here!
Amazing!
Howdy, folks.
I'm behind here, as usual on weekends. We played one gig (sort of a gig - not a paid deal) last night, and will be leaving for another in an hour. Yikes! After this week we have a break for awhile, though. Don't think we have anything serious gigs for a month or so.
*sigh* We're all mad at one another right now because of one thing and another. This is gonna be very tense. I'm not looking forward to the rest of the day.
I don't do tense anymore!
:-D
Oh yeah? - lemmee see yer knuckles!
I guess it's just hay cuttin' time every year!
LOL You got me.
;-)
Whatcha doin'? Jedis are watching Raiders of the Lost Ark, Steve is napping. In an hour, he's gonna take him for a nature hike! I'll have the afternoon alone.
Gonna clean up my room, I think.
I was tellin' Steve about the jedis floatation devices in the van under their seats...he said:
"Well, maybe acting on one's irrational fears is one way of dealing with them!"
Then he said as an after-thought:
"You could also get analysis to help you deal with it, but that would probably just tick you off!"
Oh my stars, I laughed till I cried.
Only references I could find to hay the previous year were roadkill haybales and moldy haybales...
It's awesome having an archivist bear! It sure keeps us honest!
Reading back around that time, I see that was around the time I found the dead crow in the water bucket! I really want to go back and read some of them old threads. It's really unusual to have a complete written record of a whole friendship. Kindof a group diary. ;~D
Oh, dear. I'll just say a quick prayer that it goes better than you think, shall I?
Man, I've got a ton to do but the bother's softball picnic is a command performance. What can I do in an hour? - On the plus side, we got Mom and Dad to pose in one shot of the pictures so hopefully I'll have one of the whole family.
It is neat, isn't it!! Then moot and the wedding just make it all the neater...
I think it's a really interesting social experiment. Perhaps we will look back on it and say "We met in the beginning years of WWIII and remained friends and corresponded all the way through."
mmmmmm....scouring...
...mmmm...Elfbashfest....
That's a weird way of looking at it...
My ear's still kind of sore today but it's much better. You suggesting using heat made it possible for me to sleep last night! Thanks for the free medical advice.
