The Hobbit Hole XIII - Let them pass! Let them pass!

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

...Let them pass! Let them pass!
(Note to dwarves, this is only meant figuratively)

New verse:

Upon the hearth the fire is red,
Beneath the roof there is a bed;
But not yet weary are our feet,
Still round the corner we may meet
A sudden tree or standing stone
That none have seen but we alone.
Tree and flower and leaf and grass,
Let them pass! Let them pass!
Hill and water under sky,
Pass them by! Pass them by!

Still round the corner there may wait
A new road or a secret gate,
And though we pass them by today,
Tomorrow we may come this way
And take the hidden paths that run
Towards the Moon or to the Sun.
Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe,
Let them go! Let them go!
Sand and stone and pool and dell,
Fare you well! Fare you well!

Home is behind, the world ahead,
And there are many paths to tread
Through shadows to the edge of night,
Until the stars are all alight.
Then world behind and home ahead,
We’ll wander back to home and bed.
Mist and twilight, cloud and shade,
Away shall fade! Away shall fade!
Fire and lamp, and meat and bread,
And then to bed! And then to bed!

How does one check the spark plug? just wiggle where the connection is, or should I actually take it out? - and what exactly am I looking for if I do take it out?

I think the art style has a lot in common with Scrapped Princess, at least as compared to other anime I've seen. It has the same vibrant colors, at least.

Yeah, except for the "chibi" thing, it's very similar in a lot of ways. I like all the colors! And some of the backgrounds are lovely.

I'd like to grow peppers. I eat enough! Maybe I'll get window boxes or something, just for fun.

I had a few plants in pots last year, but I think they weren't in the sun enough. They didn't really do that well. Actually, it may not be too late for me to get some small potted chiles - the guy I got them from is at the farmers' market all summer and continues to sell some plants along with the actual produce. So we'll see.

Unfortunately, this just isn't really a good pepper growing climate.

Maybe I'll just frequent the farmer's market and get their nice fresh produce, rather than trying to grow my own.

The colors are good! It's nice since the last thing I watched was "Fruits Basket" which is very pastel. Kind of washed out, and the animation is more soft - does that make sense? It's lovely, too, but this is a nice change. Also the first few animes I watched were all closer to this style and so it's nice to see.

Another thing I like is that you won't confuse one character with another. You may not be able to remember the names, but they are all very distinct. That's nice since most of the minor characters wear the same uniform.

You'll probably have access to HUGH farmer's markets, too. Ours are pretty tiny, though there are lots of 'em. Most of the bigger towns have one, one day a week.

Make sure the connection is solid (not loose). The easiest way to test the spark plug is to just replace it with a new one. They're relatively inexpensive but might involve a trip to ~town~.

Beyond that...I googled this answer:

You can test the plug to see that it is functioning properly by grounding (touching) the hex portion of the plug to a bare metal part of the engine. Pull the rope or turn the key. If you see a blue spark jump across the gap in the plug, it is functioning properly. If not, a new plug may be the answer.

It's the price you must pay if you wish a properly maintained lawn...

This one is better than the pancake bunny...

Maybe I'll go to town if it still isn't working after some lunch.

What, pray tell, does one give a lawnmower for lunch?

I'd be tellin' the lawnmower, "You don't work. You don't eat."

That's why I think she should have the horses do it! They'd work and eat.
