We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!
Good morning!!
Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
Sen. Hitlery, at an appearance in San Francisco: Many of you are well enough off that ... the tax cuts may have helped you. We're saying that for America to get back on track, we're probably going to cut that short and not give it to you. We're going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good."
Mexican and United States officials signed a pact that, among other things, will allow work in Mexico to count toward the United States Social Security system requirements. The agreement still has to be ratified by the Senate. (EN - Let's hope not!)
Sen. Kerry says there is no reason to open his divorce records. (EN - This means there is every reason to open his divorce records.)
The Army is recalling thousands of individuals back to active duty to serve in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Saddam and 11 of his top lieutenants have been turned over to Iraq. They will be arranged before an Iraqi court on Thursday. Genocide is expected to be among the charges. There is debate going on in Iraq on reinstating, for this purpose, the harshest penalty in that country's legal system: hanging from the neck until dead.
Halliburton is warning investors of additional losses in the second quarter of 2004. (EN - And here I thought the Administration was taking care of Halliburton--at least that's what the left claims...)
And apparently UOx42 still can't come to terms with Paula Jones. In his book, My Life [sic, probably should read My Lie], UOx42 again denies sexually harrasing the former Arkansas state employee.
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.
Good morning lysie! Yes, as a matter of fact, I slept before the burn, got up just in time to see it end and the wonderful Call Home. Then, I went back to sleep for a while. Heading in for work soon. I'm wondering if my 2 co-workers (actually bosses of sorts) that were in the control room at JPL have gotten any sleep at all yet!
Yippeee skippy....You are back. Happy birthday wishes for your son.
I promise I'll be asleep before/as/after the sun rises.
I've a meeting scheduled for 11am, so I'll grab a power nap, at least.
Promise.
/john
Not to mention the two 'gravity-assist slingshot' trips around Venus and Earth flybys!
Good. You know how crabby you get without sleep...oh wait....that's not you...that's me. :-)
Now that's a blast from the past, and wasn't it "Yippity Skippity", and whose trademark was that?
It was...I sort of plagarized. LOL
LOL! Who was it! I'm racking my brain!!!
I'd be suprised if there was an IDE device on the craft.
That said, JPL can still get the most out of a 32K EEprom.
I am going to call it a morning. God bless us all. Each, and every one.

God bless us all. Each, and every one.

Bless you, too, John....
I don't know for sure who originally used that phrase, but Jemian may have.
Good morning all.
FNC announced they would be going live to the Iraqi courtroom where Saddam will be indicted any minute now.
I am also a confirmed space junkey. It is one of the things Americans do that demonstrates how great this country is.
Good morning. Thanks Peach...just turned TV on.
Now they say they are waiting for vido of Saddam's appearance in court...not sure if that's yesterdays appearance or today's appearance was taped.
Need tea to understand!
The most transparent bit of reporting I've read in a long time from the NY Slimes Editorial Board...
The actual trials should not begin until an elected government takes power, a step planned for next January. Starting them sooner might produce political dividends for the appointed Iraqi interim government or the Bush re-election campaign. But it would not serve justice or help restore Iraq's standing in the international community.

I see that CNN's idea of "any minute" has now stretched to 20 minutes and still waiting...
Starting them sooner might produce political dividends for the appointed Iraqi interim government or the Bush re-election campaign.
I agree with some of that....but I say so what?
It's this statement I totally disagree with.
But it would not serve justice or help restore Iraq's standing in the international community.
Do they have a crystal ball over at the Times?
I think many of you space junkeys know more about space than I do. For me, it all started with wanting to to an astronaut during Mercury, Gemini and Apollo and also having astronomy as a hobby.
I'll never forget the summer night I stayed up all night when I was around 11 just to see, of all planets, Saturn, come up over the eastern horizon and get it in my new telescope! It came into view about 4am. I'll never forget that moment when I lost by breath when I saw those rings through my telescope for the first time!
