Reminds me of my work day...which, hopefully, will not approach the horror of some of the work days I've read about around here in the last week.

But then, it's pot-luck, you go into work and yer takes yer chances. Last night we were walking in large park at sunset, and it was so gorgeous with amber waves of...grass, and a pink and blue sky -- it was stunning. And I realized why we are so dumb at work, doing stupid things and hating it all the time: We'd do stupid things and hate it if we were in jail too! And compared to walking in nature, the modern office (particularly a government office) is a pretty darn good comparison to a jail.

Ironically there are many places within our organization where I could get out and enjoy nature. I just don't get to because my job is "too important."

What a crock.
