Special Wedding Edition: The Hobbit Hole XI - No One Admitted Except on Wedding Business!
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, |
Still round the corner there may wait |
Home is behind, the world ahead, |
Well, you have to take lots of shots sometimes to get the one great shot!
Especially with film camera where you can't tell immediately what you've got, but also with digitals in any kind of action shot, because of the dang delay of a second or two between hitting the button till it finally takes the shot. Sometimes the horses have changed direction and the shot is over.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!
By the way, are y'all gonna get the disposable cameras from the wedding developed...?
I saw a fair number of soldiers at the airport in Atlanta as I was coming through on Sunday morning.
LOL! I saw that sign, and stole the image for my files! ;o)
As you can see, I've about caught up, and I don't think I funkled once! That's because it was the middle of the day rather than the middle of the night when I'm usually on!
Hi there! ~smooch~ Just got back from the all you can eat steak buffet in Waco. :-) Am VEY full!!!!
How are you this evening? Is the wireless operational?
Well... the wireless thing is working for the moment. We'll see how long it lasts.
Yes... the Howard Shore concert will be cool...
Though this week I'm getting keyed up for Rush at the White River Apth. Friday night. Geddy Lee and the boys.
I'm really, really looking forward to this...
Heh... is that our monster SUV in the rear-view mirror, going across the bridge?
Make that a grey and white tabby, and you'd have a good approximation of what my one cat looked like...
*gasp!*
You were tailgating them!
*snicker*
Howdy there. :-)
The wireless bidness seems to be working again for reasons that I'm at a loss to 'splain.
I love the sunset photo!!! You done good!!! I think it was well worth your wait. :-)
Yep! That's you.
Yeah...I like the sunset photo....and the cat. Guess I'll have to hurry up and finish the other roll. I think I have "Many Partings" and shots of Mt. Ranier out the car window.
Prayer honey... might be that somebody was prayin'! :-)
How's your day other than that? I spent half the afternoon driving around the countryside with Aunt Cheryl just cause we could. LOL
Hi Sis!
Just got finished saving pics from the Wedding Thread.
I'm off line for the night...Steve'll be in soon.
See everyone in the morning!
Heh, yeah... for the first couple of days, only a couple of people knew how to get to where we were going, so we usually formed up a convoy of two or three vehicles, playing follow the leader!
Vancouver Washington is right across the river from Portland.... Sorry. We must be very specific when speak of Vancouver around here, and I failed :~\
We have developed the pics from the disposables.... some good shots! - but we haven't scanned them yet. Still waiting on our "official" pics from the photographer before putting the best of them on a website.
