Special Wedding Edition: The Hobbit Hole XI - No One Admitted Except on Wedding Business!
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, |
Still round the corner there may wait |
Home is behind, the world ahead, |
Not a problem with the salt box. It's exactly in the same cabinet configuration as the old house. In reach of the stove at all times. :-)
Hmmm....Mister Ed went through a car wash this morning.
Iz ecurbh gettin' ready too? Iz he excited? :-)
Okay....cat box area and the kitchen is done.
Sounds like haulin' stuff to Goodwill is only slightly less profitable then! LOL
"are" done....doh!
Woo Hoo! "We go to the bottom of the fifth."
You finished off the JD?
Well, there you go.
I certainly didn't lose by it.
No....I'm at the bottom, though. :)
E- There's two big fires burning here- one near Payson and another on Mt. Graham. The way the night air settles, you could smell the smoke all the way down in Florence. The one near Payson really breaks my heart because we really wanted to get in there and spend some time along a certain creek that was my father's favorite fishing spot. The news is saying this fire the second biggest in AZ history- bigger than Mt. Lemmon last year. There were some big power lines that were being threatened and the East Valley had to deal with some rolling blackouts for a while. It's a real mess. But at least lightning started this one instead of some dimwit city dweller.
I'm torn about the Mt. Graham fire. On one hand, it is funny as heck given the history of the environmentalists trying to 'save the squirrels' only to now have the mountain burn up from other failed environmental policies. On the other, it's another beautiful forest lost.
Ah well. We're off to Walmart to get some munchies for our trip north.
Hugs to all!
Heh... I think I'm about up to my ears in postal shipping with the troop support packages that I send from the Hobbit Hole. That was the main reason I quit thinking about getting rid of stuff on ebay. LOL
Bottom of the fifth?
Have fun LF!
Wish to see AZ again soon also. :-)
Yeah....I'm listening to last night's Cubs game. Always liked the bottom of the fifth inning. :)
Say Hi to Prescott as you drive by the exit! Are you gonna drive through Oak Creek Canyon on your way to Flagstaff? I've always loved that route.
I like that!
Sorry 'bout the fires there.... Always so dry and hot there.
Did a couple of garage sales myself this a.m. Didn't buy anything.
Almost bought a sword. When I was in high school my dream was to go to Spain with my Spanish class, but my parents couldn't afford it. I wanted to go to Toledo, Spain and buy a sword. Found one this morning for $25. But it wasn't in great shape, plus in my house, it would only cause problems.
Went to the "Super Flea Market" which was not open by 9:00 a.m. What's up with that? My step-father would've sold half his inventory by 9.
Gotta bathe the dog, then start to work on clearing Jr's room to paint. Mrs. is in charge of the clothes first...I've got some time.
My Mama wasn't so elaborate. She'd pour some whiskey in the jar and drop in a couple of peppermint sticks. Only took a tablespoon full to cure what ailed ya!
