Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
...Tree and flower and leaf and grass
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

How does your browser play music?
When I played it first time, it tried to play the file in Quicktime in the same window, And I had to stop, go back, and tell it to open in new window so I could keep looking at the pics. ecurbh's didn't do that...
Was that a problem for anyone else? Or did everyone figure it out well enough?

I had to open it in a new window.
I may not have had to previously, but I installed AOHell so we could have access from the beach on dialup. So it automatically goes to Quicktime.

Oy...maybe a 56K modem...but any kind of broadband is right out of the budget. Guess I'll have to start showing up at these things...
...and I hear all the HHDs shouting "Run for your lives!" :)

But "open in new window" is something folk will figure out to do? Or is it worth fixing so it does that automatically? Thinking my Dad won't get that.

I'm perfectly happy with being more hobbitty than some! *Sigh* Frequent Flyer Hobbit.
To: HairOfTheDog
You could just add a statement sayting that. It might cause problems for some on dialup. Those chisels can only go so fast.

We might.... I am gonna push ecurbh to add Jimmy Buffett's "Come Monday" link to the reception part with the plane, that is what happened to be playing then, and it really works on the video! It was like the thing was choreographed that way.

Heh... I spent over an hour in my office just looking at pictures!! I love them but I don't think I'm half through yet. :-)
Decided I'd come home and get something to eat while I look at the rest... may be browing pictures for another long while instead of posting!
It is well worth the wait! You two did an outstanding job there!

Well, maybe that's why no one from the family has responded to the email! ;~D It could very well be!
I was shutting down my computer at work when I did the last refresh and there was the link. I had my laptop and purse already sitting outside my office door - but ended up there another hour!

Well, we didn't mean to make a big production out of it... it's just that we had a lot of good pics, and it's hard to know which ones to delete! (I might have deleted the ones where I look like I am either faint or sick, but they're kinda funny)
