Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
...Tree and flower and leaf and grass
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

My little sister was allergic to everything, for years. Dairy products, wheat products, nuts... she lived on rice and tuna fish. One day she just came down (was about five at the time) and told Mom, "Jesus fixed my allergies". Scary thing is, she was right...

See ya...I gotta get up and get this house spiffed!!
We're gonna put all our recording equipment and the satellite receiver into the entertainment center (it's on top right now) so I have to get it all cleaned out.

Heh..I just watched the new Bush ad on the www.georgewbush.com website. It's the one with McCain.
They're calling it "First Choice" as in John Kerry's first choice for veep.
BWAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHA!!!

Just reading that story gave me the willies...I really, really don't like biting insects!
One time when I was in MS during my tech training, we had a fire drill. They had us all line up in formation in a field across the street so they could do roll call...had us standing at attention. Being a good little airman, I didn't break position to raise my hand to let 'em know a good number of us were on a fireant hill, and the ants were even LESS pleased than we were.
When they finally dismissed us I ran back to my room and pulled my pants off as fast as I could, but I had big ol' weals all up and down my legs, and I ended up putting the pants in hot water in an attempt to kill all the rest of the ants that were STILL in them. It was horrible!

If there is, I don't know how. It seems to be set up for just streaming it. If you let it chug through once, I think you'll cache it, and it'll play better the second time, prolly.

been really busy
To: RosieCotton
Yup!
Though I'm in a not-bad mood, since I seem to have the classes I want next semester. Is going to be an odd schedule, and of course the two classes that have a fifteen minute break between them, are on opposite sides of the campus. Basically I have classes every day at lunch time! But most days I'm done with classes by 3.
