Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
...Tree and flower and leaf and grass
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

IF the economy holds and we start getting good (actually the real) news from Iraq, Bush will win. yes... but that is if'n the people actually hear that news... I spoke with numerous classmates, from factory workers to management, to small business owners, most are intelligent and consider themselves informed... and was appalled at how uninformed of the facts they were...
Iraq is a seething cauldron of hate... all Iraqis hate us... no WMDs... no Al Qeada in Iraq... we're still mired in a great depression... unemployment is at an all time high... etc... the "unbiased" wedia has done its job well...

The brother who introduced you to FR, or the other one?
On my end, any time after say, August 3rd, I could probably have company...

yes... but that is if'n the people actually hear that news... That's why we have to keep the message going. We've got to work the snot out of the grass roots effort, in our neighborhoods and on the Internet.
And somebody needs to tell that sorry-@$$ed "Ward Smythe" he's way behind on his web stuff...

Don't forget the Off! That's a must have. Luke is a major mosquito target.
'Course my mother-in-law would just cover him in Skin-so-Soft. It's her version of Windex (My Big Fat Greek Wedding).

The brother who introduced you to FR, or the other one? The one I ranted about the last night of Entmoot...
We get along better now than we ever had, but I still am curious about this gal...

so what've yuh got against hangin' yer butt off'n a tree stump?...Heh...that'd be much preferable to really gnarly portapotties, which is what the one place we stopped had...I insisted on going one further, and we came to the outrageously marvelous place.

Morning Hobbit Hole!
Gots lots to do, but I had to say that the first pic looks like I was eating the fork rather than the food! :-)
Wonderful pictures all. I wish I was still there....*sigh*
Let me get everything settled and payrolls started and I'll pop back onto the thread as often as I can.
