Day's not going too well for me either, Corin.
Just got a call from the ex, letting me know that he will be skipping is his vistation this weekend because he's decided to go out of town. As if I didn't already have plans.
I don't mind keeping the girls, it's that he's always doing this!! SO frickin' inconsiderate.
Now I have to scramble for a babysitter Friday night since I had already called Anne (from my Best Buddy program) to tell her I'd be picking her up to go eat pizza. I can't cancel...again.
*sigh* This is all about control, unfortunately. He knows I don't have anyone as a back-up, and this way, he can manipulate my life and (this is the real reason) keep me from meeting anyone else.
perhaps we need to stop by the HTML bootcamp on the way to the beach...

It's ok, chica. I have already adjusted my thinking on the whole matter.
The more time the girls stay with me, the better. I may not be the best mom in the whole world, but at least I can be the one they know keeps them in top priority.
To be honest, I feel more angry about the irresponsiblity and inconsideration than I am about not being able to sleep in on Saturday.

I have an Uncle who did time in Parchman prison for bootleggin!! After he got out, he met my Daddy's sister and married her. He died before I was born, but I hear he was a fun guy!
