That's the first time I've heard pastelitos nominated :) I suggested Twinkies last time the argument came up.

I'm on a thread that says Kerry thinks he can take Virginia...what a crock. It's just a ploy to try to make Bush spend money in a safe state.

We haven't voted for a RAT since LBJ and were the ONLY traditional southern state not to vote for Carter.

Virginia doesn't go for Kerry unless he wins in a landslide, and that just ain't gonna happen

It was funny. Slightly not my thing. Thought it would be over 45 minutes before it actually ended, and my bladder started complaining, so all I could think about was the tragic end of Tycho Brahe - I know I've told that story before, but I'm not sure you were around last time...

But these neighbors are really weird, they do things like cutting the grass at ten o'clock at night.

This is a problem?

Heh, the first year we lived here I noticed that the neighbor with the perfect lawn was always out with his floodlights either raking leaves or mowing. Told the wife I thought he was a vampire.

Found out a long time later he worked two jobs. But he's still fanatical about his lawn. He helps me with stuff though. And he's the one that gave me my award.

I'm afraid I missed the story of the tragic end of Tycho Brahe, LOL! How's that go? :)

Debating whether to watch "Spiderman" or "Princess Bride" tonight.

Didja get the recent paperback release put out by Ibooks?

The collection with the Amber short stories is Manna from Heaven, which was supposed to be released in May but has been delayed.

I think so - at least, it was paperback and available. Has 15 stories? Anyway I can't wait, though knowing Amazon it'll be a week before it gets shipped. Grr...

Psssst! Do you think Twinkies would taste better if I toasted them with my lighter first? ;-)

I believe the plot to Fright Night started out like this. . . :)

They've discovered a new X-Men recruit!

Heh, I saw that story... for some reason I was reminded of an old Saturday Night Live sketch.
