I'm pretty proud of myself for remembering lunch in spite of everything!
But I was going to chop up more vegetables to have with it. All I basically have is meat.

I'm thinking of going to Subway and getting a salad - that's closest.

Mmm...there's an idea.
I like the Burger King salads, too. Don't have one o' them, though.
And the grocery store near here has excellent salads. Lots n' lots of stuff in them. The best is a spinach salad with bacon and sliced hardboiled egg...oooh, that's good!

Cool! - Glad you got to see the group!
Good morning!
We are unfortunately, up very early to get Ruthy to the airport ;~\ It's not unfortunate that we are up early, it's a beautiful morning. Just wish we didn't have to send Ruthy home :~(

We have a Subway, a Dairy Queen, and a chinese place within fetching distance. Not a great selection for low-carb diets.

Heh...not really! I'm just happy there's the grocery for emergencies...usually I bring lunch, but if I ever don't...
You had tried the Subway wraps, right? Are they pretty good? I've heard they're kinda on the salty side, but otherwise OK.

The wraps are good, but I don't quite like the wrap part. It's fine when I eat it, but something about it makes my stomach feel odd afterwards.

All I basically have is meat. You say that like it's a bad thing.
To: JenB
In other words, getting them as a salad is probably better...I could handle that.
I don't go there often, but it's always nice to know of places that will work if I'm on the run and need something quickly!

I want meat, though. Hmm. Perhaps I should make a drive down to the nearest town and get some chicken.
