And this is a photo I had a poster of in full color as a teenager -- it is awesome in color, I've always thought of it when I think of the word "power" (in color, you see the massive muscles of his chest rippling). This is Secretariat winning the Gotham Stakes.

I watched Secretariat win the Triple Crown --- all three races. I wept, spontaneously, as he pounded around the curve and pounded all the heart out of the rest of the field.

"A tremendous machine," indeed!
