There are almost no veggies I consider to be of the wrong sort! I used to say eggplant...but now I like that, too...just know I hafta prepare it differently.

But some of my siblings disagree with me vehemently. So I understand. Just like 'em all, myself!

What do you think? How should I carry my pennywhistles? Carry-on or checked? Will there be a security issue?

I'm taking 5...my Hoover, a Susato, and three brass Gens.

It's a classic book. My friend who just got his history Ph.D. said he'd been meaning to read it because it had been recommended reading.

Hmmm... you sound like my dad. Not about his own birthdays; about my youngest sister. She's 17, but according to Dad has just celebrated her sixth 12th birthday.

I've taken them on both ways and didn't have any problem either way. You can always play for them if they have any questions. :)

I got a place for us to stay!

Always a cool thing! We'll see after the wedding moot and my thing at the end of June. And try to get together soon. I would love that.

BTW, was going to tell you...I went to go rent Pitch Black last night, but they had it in the "must be 18 or older" section, and said it was rated higher than R. I couldn't think why, but thought maybe you'd know? I'm thinking maybe it's just unrated, and they're being stupid...it would be typical for that place.

I may check at the other place. Not that I'm not over 18...but since I didn't know all THAT much about the movie, I didn't think I'd wanna rent it without being sure I wasn't getting more than I bargained for.
