Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
...That none have seen but we alone.
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

Well, I did eat too much of it. I really did get finally sick of it, and Walmart did quit selling the bagels.
It was the Lord, I tell ya...that's why Walmart quit selling those bagels! LOL!!

I think it's pretty well decided that it's gonna be there.
We're half thinking of driving. It'd be a longgg trip...but would mean more of us could come. Just wish I wasn't such a fraidy cat!

Being an Apple, one may debate if it ever "worked".

The Apple, or the fishtank?Heh, the Apple. The pic I posted above is a working PC with a "fish tank" built into it. (I think I know how it works, but I ain't tellin'.)

On the site you linked to, it looks like it works basically like those toy ping pong type games, where you move little plastic balls with a sort of air pump.
Still...kinda cool.

Yes, if you stock shiners or minnows or something in your fishbowl, instead of exotics, you have a ready made bait supply for when you go fishing.
Or better yet, dig a pool behind the house and put catfish in, then you have ready made dinners.
