got the barrier plan in place, muh ambush position prepped, shotgun and .22 pistol loaded and tested...
all I'm awaitin' on is sunset and that rat-bastidge hen killin' coon...
yuh know, I'm really pissed at this coon, as it's killed at least 6 birds, 3 of 'em good egg producin' hens... that and the fact that I will not be enjoyin' an adult beverage tuhnite has put me in the mood tuh splatter somethins' guts all over the lot...

My kids have somewhat settled for the night, but I really wish I could watch what I wanted on TV. My 6 year old has some cheesy Disney TV show on that she's been wanting to watch all week. *sigh*

And I thought it most appropriate that the gospel was presented without shame. I was watching "Washington Journal" yesterday morning and Brian Lamb read parts of an article by Hannah Rosen (I think that was the name) that said that it was good the John Danforth was leading the service because, though he's an Episcopal minister, he usually only talks about God, and doesn't mention Jesus too much.
I had to laugh when the actual service came on because there was Jesus, out there in front of God and everybody! How inconvenient for the libs. Then young Ron had to go and make his stupid comment. Sounds like he didn't listen to to many of his Dad's speeches when he was growing up!
