Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
...That none have seen but we alone.
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

We just went and watched it too... Nice.
I just thought up a joke.
Ray Charles gets to heaven and is blessed to be able to see down to the world. He looked up some of his old friends... "Ah... So that's what ole Cab Calloway looked like!" He kept looking down... "Oh - there's ole Stevie Wonder"! he said... He looked closer at Stevie, and asked... "Oh man... Tell me they didn't dress me like that too"

Oh! Yes, some of them were impressed, hehe. Some of them were all, "Who on earth is that? Who invited those girls?"
It's gonna be loads of fun next week. It's just like a convention. Only with preachers instead of geeks. And no cosplay. And I don't think they sell things.
Maybe I oughta go to bed.

Evening all...
Watching the MTV Movie Awards (I know, I know...)
Two notes:
1. They sneakily slipped Mikhail Moore promoting Rip Off Ray Bradbury's Title for my Latest Lie-Fest into the space for acceptance of "Best Action Sequence" for FotR (Merry showed up for a sec)
2. The applause for Bloat-Boy was present, but noticeably underwhelming.
It's a small thing, but interesting, I think.

hehehehe... That's pretty good.
I saw something in browsing around the Ray Charles site. Apparently, he's never been one to ever sign autographs. wouldn't do it. When asked why he refused to sign autographs, one time he said:
"I don't sign nuthin I can't see."
Bwaahahaha... priceless.

Michael Moore should do a self-documentary.
Oh wait, I've already seen The Blob. Dull and cheesy, with a poor plot. Even after the remake. ;-)

Half the time I'm not sure who I am.
Likely to do with meeting my alternate forum self from the rifted thread.

Oh yes... scary, in a spooky psychological way, with a very interesting message. I recommend seeing it! If you do watch it, just remember... the real story has very little to do with "aliens".
