Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
...That none have seen but we alone.
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

Oh, my. Prayers for your Corin day. I hope your mom's ok - are the negative results a good thing or a bad thing?

I've painted my fingernails now and then, but typing knocks chips off so quickly! And toes are just a pain. Usually I wear tennis shoes anyway. Agreed! I am not even sure I have toenails on my pinky toes, they are so small.

Sigh... we're not very stellar examples of femininity, next to the Elf Queen ladies, are we?

Negative results on an EKG would mean there was NOT a heart attack. Like a negative pregnancy test.
Kinda confusing tho...

Respiratory therapy.
But I don't know him at all! He came with his dad last week (he's home for the summer), but didn't talk much. The dogs liked him, though, which was kinda funny. They usually take a long while to warm up to people, but Fiona kept trying to get him to pick her up.

Heh... I inherit everything from my dad... interests, abilities, and yes, appearance, only my version is feminine and his is masculine. My next sister is a close copy of my mom. All the others are weird blends, except the second brother who is way out in left field.

I'm glad to hear the initial tests have come back negative. I'll continue to pray for a quick diagnosis!
And, of course, for God to continue to provide you with strength.

The EKG and the enzymes came back negative, so they don't know what is causing the pain.Gall bladder attack? The symptoms can be very similar to a heart attack (speaking from experience.)
In any case, best wishes to your Mom, and strength to you and the rest of the family!

Well, I really hope on Friday night we do a bit of pre-wedding Hairofthedog pampering!
I hope she lets us!!
My feet are so aweful again, Wn...I really don't know if I could let you do my toenails! I'll try to get them into shape by the wedding...no walking barefoot in fresh cut grass from now on! LOL
But I did buy the color. It's dark...a dark pink, not a light one. Not bright either. A rich dark corral color. Called "Cover Girl Satin Mauve." A creme...not glittery.

She had her gall bladder removed years ago. I think I was still in elementary school.
Thanks for the wishes.
